La presente comunicación tiene como finalidad exponer los avances del trabajo de planificación que viene desarrollando el equipo interdisciplinario e interinstitucional constituido por el IDR-INTA y Municipalidad de Tupungato, en el departamento homónimo. La metodología utilizada en el mismo se fundamenta y se ajusta a las directrices de la Ley Provincial Nº 8051/09 de Ordenamiento Territorial de Mendoza, junto a otras técnicas específicas del ámbito rural que se encuentran en periodo de experimentación y adecuación para posteriormente ser replicadas en otros territorios. Desde el inicio del proyecto en 2011 se ha trabajado en la búsqueda y análisis de datos cuantitativos y cualitativos, en la elaboración de metodologías, y en la construcción del Diagnóstico Territorial Rural. Asimismo, desde fines de ese año se inició el proceso de consulta a la comunidad a través de los talleres participativos, para conocer y sumar la rica información que los habitantes brindan por contar con la experiencia vivida. En la actualidad, el proyecto está finalizando con la definición de lineamientos prospectivos y acciones estratégicas

This paper aims to highlight the progress of the planning being done by the interdisciplinary and interagency team consisting of IDR -INTA and Municipality of Tupungato, in the homonymous department. The methodology is based on the same and follows the guidelines of the Provincial Law No. 8051/09 Land Use of Mendoza, along with other specific techniques in rural areas that are in period of experimentation and adaptation to later be replicated in other territories. Since the project's inception in 2011 we have worked in search and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, methodology development, and construction of the Rural Territorial diagnosis. Also, since the end of that year the process of community consultation was initiated through participatory workshops, to learn and add the rich information that people give for having the experience. Currently, the project is finalized to the definition of prospective guidelines and strategic actions
