El trabajo intenta explicar cómo ha sido posible el surgimiento de voces femeninas poderosas, de notable autenticidad, en la Tragicomedia de Calisto y Melibea, obra que es producto de una escritura masculina. Para ello se discuten algunos rasgos de la ideología amorosa cortesana de la Castilla del siglo XV y el modo en que la lírica amorosa y la narrativa sentimental se explayan en el debate sobre la condición de la mujer, luego las tradiciones formales que aprovecha el autor de Celestina y finalmente el análisis de parlamentos significativos de Melibea y Areúsa, dos personajes situados en los extremos de la escala social. Se concluye que son las grietas del sistema de discursos sociales de fines del siglo XV, durante el pasaje del orden feudal al orden burgués, las que crean las condiciones de posibilidad para la emergencia de una representación auténtica de la subjetividad femenina.

The work attempts to explain how the emergence of powerful female voices, of remarkable authenticity, has been possible in the Tragicomedy of Calisto and Melibea, a work that is the product of male writing. For these reasons, some features of the courtesan love ideology of 15th century Castile are discussed as well as the way in which the love lyric and the sentimental narrative are expanded in the debate on the condition of women, then the formal traditions that the author of Celestina and finally the analysis of significant parliaments by Melibea and Areúsa, two characters located at the extremes of the social scale. The conclusion is that the cracks in the system of social discourses at the end of the 15th century, during the passage from the feudal to the bourgeois order, create the conditions of possibility for the emergence of an authentic representation of female subjectivity.
