La literatura de la Shoah está presente tanto en la literatura producida por los supervivientes de la última dictadura militar argentina, como en la crítica que se ha ocupado de interpretarla y analizarla. En este ensayo me detendré en un aspecto particular de este proceso de recepción: las lecturas, repercusiones y apropiaciones de la obra de Primo Levi en nuestro país, uno de los escritores europeos más emblemáticos que reviste, en la actualidad, la categoría de símbolo y ejemplo de la supervivencia de los campos de exterminio alemanes. El estudio de la presencia del autor en el campo cultural local y de las relaciones intertextuales entre su obra y la literatura testimonial concentracionaria argentina permite no solo analizar cómo han sido recibidos su obra y su legado, sino también reflexionar sobre algunos ejes centrales de la elaboración de la memoria reciente en nuestro país.

Shoah literature is present in the literature produced by survivors of the last military dictatorship in Argentina, as well as in the critical work devoted to analyze that literature. In this essay I will focus on a particular aspect of this process of reception: the readings, impact and appropriation of the work of Primo Levi in our country, one of the most emblematic European writers who is currently a symbol and also an example of survival of German death camps. The study of the author's presence in the local cultural field and the intertextual relations between his work and Argentinian testimonial literature about concentration camps allows not only analyze how these texts were received and Primo Levi’s legacy, but also reflect on some central keys of the recent memory in our country.
